You have said so much I wanted to say myself. I never wish another model or photographer bad. I think we are all different and have talent. I also wonder what is next as I accomplished the goals I set out as model and MUA. It's funny when you get there, you always say "Shit, what now?"

Just be proud and keep pushing yourself. You are a great talent.

Failing as a photographer? You mean as a business? You certainly couldn't fail as a photogapher...because you have already brought so much beauty into the light. Your photos live. And they look alive.

Fancy equipment and business sense do not make great photographs, any more than fancy high-tech oils and sable brushes make great paintings.

Artistry always transcends its tools.

Well some people get caught up in the whoever has the better equipment is the most professional one.. and as an artist before a photographer.. I was taught to work with whatever you have to create art. To use something different in your work to create your own style. I hope I have done that with my work.

Yeah, I guess that explains why those gearheads are so much better than Ansel Adams, Bunny Yeager, Man Ray and Helmut Newton.

I always like reading about what motivates people and why they do what they do, I just love learning about people. It is even nicer to read your entry because I truely enjoy your work and it sounds like you love it as much as your audience does, which is the most important part I suppose. Thank you for sharing this glimpse of yourself and keep on pushing. As I told my cousin last night after watching her amazing play, the only place to go from here is up.
