My Work Experience.. Experience.

I'm not going to explicitly state the name of the place that I went, just to be careful, but basically it was this creative arts centre and it was awesome.

I think the best part, it wasn't the fact that I was surrounded by this buzz of creativity and homely-ness but more or less the idea of being treated as an equal with these adults was surreal. I mean I've always kind of being treated as a child and I could talk to everybody like they were just a friend and not somebody that I was working for and I can understand why some people adore their jobs. If I worked there full time I think that I could potentially enjoy everyday of my life.

They also do a lot of outreach programs and we walked in on one of their classes for Special Ed kids and there was this one boy called Cosna who was rather adorable. He was obsessed with Chinese things and it was just kind of funny. And there was another boy who had Down Syndrome who was talking to me about ceiling fans which was, rather interesting I guess.

And I was allowed to use their machinery and tools, even though on my application-esque thing they said that I wouldn't be allowed, I still did!

On Wednesday Rowena took me to the print studio and Bec took me around and taught me about Linocuts and press machines and everything. And it was vintage! So that was rather cool and I did enjoy it a lot.

Andddddddd it was a lot of fun basically.
