I wasnt trying to prove my patriotism, I was just assuring people that they were no more patriotic than I was. I kinda only know the first verse of the national anthem too.

you also fail to realize that he, being from another country and almost being completely related to people from France or people from France who settled, he's most likely going to be a little patriotic to France. seriously man, he goes through more shit than we do for being french, because he's french and automatically some people think that he's a pig or whatever and he hates the US.
