Back to school and back to Sheffield

Chris was back at school yesterday. Everything seemed to be running smoothly including the school bus, despite the continuing icy, snowy conditions. Things have been starting to thaw today, and main roads are mainly clear now, but the pavements are a mixture of ice, snow and slush, and side roads can still be a bit of a nightmare ( Read more... )

The pavements were amazing yesterday... but not in a good way!! Today we have had fresh snow, so things are a bit different today!

I dont think that David has done much writing of late, he seems to be very busy shooting (with a bow and arrow!)

OMG that slush looks so... slushy!

Is Chris still in remission? It sounds like he's doing well at the moment. He appears to be handling things so well. You all do. You're wonderful.

Yes, very, very slushy - yuck!

Yes Chris is still in remission and is indeed doing very well, hard to believe ha has been on chemo for more than eighteen months and still is only half way through... Now that he is on the maintenance chemo it is great to see him building up his strength and stamina again, but even in the intensive bits of chemo he did really well - never let it all get him down!

Well, that's great news about Chris. And well done, all of you, to support him. Asher's friend Alex stayed in remission the whole time, and although he caught a few other viruses and things, he got to the end fine and is now All Clear... and very tall and strong LOL!
