Yesterday we went to London Zoo. We made our way through a fairly frozen Regent's Park and arrived at 10am just as the Zoo opened. It was very cold there, the warmth of the butterfly house, reptile house etc being particularly appreciated!! After the morning services at church today we all caught the train to Chester and then a Virgin Voyager to Euston. From there we travelled out to Wembley where we are staying for the next three nights. Ian, the boys and I just spent a fabulous weekend at Paris Disney. We all travelled to Paris on Friday evening and spent the night at the Hilton at Charles de Gaulle Airport. Today we headed by bus to Mdina/Rabat. We spent the first few hours in Mdina (the silent city) where we went to the Mdina Experience, walked along the walls a bit and looked out at the view and had a look inside the cathedral ( Read more... )

This morning we headed out to Bugibba where we picked up a cruise which took us to St Paul's Island, the Comino caves and the Blue Lagoon on Comino where the boys and I had lovely swim while Ian rested on the beach!! This morning we headed over to Paola to visit the Hypogeum. This is a really fascinating underground structure dating from megolithic times, when it was used as a burial chamber and place of worship.
