Today there was a hypnotist act at the dorms. I was interested in seeing it but the cold weather wanted me to retreat back to bed. But then one of the people I met here invited me and I couldn't put down her cute face ( Read more... )

I was hypnotized my freshman year. Who was the guy, do you remember? Our anime club brought in Joshua Seth to do it. (He voiced Ty on Digimon. XD)

I wanna say his name was Don... something. Said he was David Letterman 9 times, Jay Leno once, Jimmy Kimmel... dunno how many times.

Did it really work for you? All I fell for was his beginning where I touched my cheek instead of my chin. Then afterwards he made us do silly things but I wasn't in the mood so I fought it and just sat back :/

It sounds like he was mean. Trying to hypnotize somebody who's resisting seems a bit disrespectful.

Did you go to our grad night? Seeing the hypnotist there made me believe it was real, simply because he got two really macho guys to dance together thinking the other was a girl, and they started grabbing each other's asses and stuff.

Yeah, he kept pushing my head down going "sleep!" and sometimes he played the wrong music during the bit. He seemed believable until the last stage where he had 3 people speaking an alien language and the two languages didn't even mix well... and they were laughing too hard. I dunno, I see how I could fall asleep but be tricked into doing that stuff? Yeah right.

I never went to grad night sadly but I don't know. I youtube'd David Letterman clips and it still seems... fake :/

I think you have to believe in it to work. I remember gradnite back in 05, all of those fuckers had to be faking or something. It just isn't possible to hypnotize like that.

I would have believed in it if he had stopped pushing my head down really hard or if the people in the audience stopped looking at me when I was trying to actually fall for it on my own will :/ I think it needs to be more of a private thing.
