I'm tired. Exhaused even. This was easily my hardest day at the beach. From the arches of my feet to my sunburnt scalp, I ache. And yes, I still have 5 miles to trudge.

Today I hit up the hospital to complete a 4 hr program. I wasn't looking forward to it but the shit I got out of it was invaluable. It wasn't all guilt trips or scolding like I thought. We learned about DUI accident victims, what they go through at the hospital, what happens when someone dies and how the family is notified. Extremely intense. ( Read more... )
