I guess being "sick to the stomach" isn't just a figurative idiom, but is grounded in a very material and literal way... as I am finding out today. I'm never drinking alcohol... or at least in that quantity ever again. What a fucking poison. I've been getting the runs all day in addition to being haunted by a looming desire to vomit.
