Well, it's complicated. I believe that if the State is allowed to have guns and whatever weapons they have, then the people should have equal access in order to maintain a balance of power. It is in the interest of the State to disarm the masses because then the State would essentially have absolute power. Power and freedom come out of the barrel of a gun. Peaceful hippies, in my opinion, never effected any change.
I believe that by allowing the masses to arm themselves, which they should, people are then able to defend themselves against State-perpetuated bullshit and oppression and from that, people are then able to negotiate on an equal plane, their own self-determination, independent of the State.
Sorry if that didn't make sense. We should talk about it.
Basically, the question isn't whether people should or should not have guns, but rather, why should the cop on the block have a gun?

I always thought you were pro-gun control for some reason. Am I wrong?
