Last night I was talking to my sponsor about how much it would rule if when Ani DiFranco is in town for her Chicago show she attended my home meeting (since I've totally convinced myself she's in Al-anon). Today I had an email from Righteous Babe Records saying she's adding an extra Chicago date to her tour. She was already playing Saturday,

I want to buy tickets and I would love to, but my boyfriend just said that it's his sister's birthday. so i don't know what that means. like, i don't know if i can go or not. shit. yes. i want to go. screw it i'm going. shall i just buy myself one ticket or should we purchase them together?
