Amos is now booked in to get desexed on the 11th of February, since he has actually finished growing all his bones and he can reduce his testosterone levels without it being especially risky. I'm pleased with this decision - there will not be the possibility of impregnating other dogs (not that it was high) and it may reduce other entire male dogs ( Read more... )

For those of you not following along on Facebook, we've acquired an additional Rottweiler. She is nine months old (or eight, they're not sure), underweight, missing about a third of her tail, still very much a puppy, and her name is Abby.

Today at the museum I finished up the last changes requested for my thesis (at least, the last changes I had any intention of making). Then I printed out the whole thing and sat down with a red pen to proof read it.
