Anyway, my original point: you get those kinds of music festivals, regardless of travel. My year music festival is Country fucking music. Becasue we - Tamworth - are the country music capital of Australia. FUCK!! So, here's hoping it's a great time for you. And who says you don't work hard. It takes a lot of organising to do all those things in a work day. Tomato, tomahto.

Country music eh? Ouch, my friend. Ouch. But thanks very much, I'm unusually optomistic about how great of a time it's going to be. You know, we've got a couple week-long State Fair here that happens each August (September? Again with the memory thing.) And we're not only blessed, and I use that term lightly, with country music. But we also get Mexican music. In which case you can easily escape to the carnival/rides part of the fair. Then of course, you're faced with absolutely horrible ghetto rap music. So of course the only option, as you mentioned, is to get completely maggot - which I haven't yet been able to do as I've only just turned 21 at the end of last year. We'll see how it turns out this year.
I highly agree. Work does suck the big one. Yesterday couldn't have been a slower day. And since it decided to start thundering and pouring at 3 a.m. and has yes to stop; well, that just promises the day will be even slower with less people actually coming into my work ( ... )
