I'm confused

I don't understand that comment. Especially since the law "does, however, provide for an exception to save a woman’s life." Is it better for an innocent baby to die? I will admit to predjudice on this issue. 53 years ago my mother was told that doctors were willing to give her a "theraputic abortion" because of her very serious heart condition. I am grateful to her, and to God, that she chose to say no. She underwent an experimental surgery on her heart when she was 7 months pregnant with me. Interestingly, last night I talked with a woman whose mother had the same surgery 8 years later, was not pregnant, and did not survive the surgery. I am happy that my mother chose to put my life before hers and I think you must be too, since, obviously, if I had not been born neither would Owen have been. love, Pier

Actually, I was just quoting my friend who wrote that on her blog. I just didn't have time to add to the post to elaborate because I had to leave. I don't know if I share her opinion or if she's exaggerating, I haven't really sat down to read more about it. Of course I'm happy that you were born!
