1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Hmm...in 2004 I got a job with Sony...flew on an airplane by myself...I took a trip to Chicago and actually told my mom...

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make new years resolutions - I think its kind of a load of crap. If you want to make a change, quit your bitching and do it now or when you're ready...not when someone tells you to. Or something.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not this year, thank God.

5. What countries did you visit?
Oh wow...I actually didn't leave the country this year...dammit! Unless you count Detroit, it's practically foreign.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
My degree!

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Too many...um...January 10th when I got my job...January 20 when I saw Ours in Detroit for the first time...April 23 when I saw Muse for the first time in Chicago...July 23 when I moved into my new apartment with Killah...August 5 when I turned 21...October 13-17 when I went to NYC for CMJ...and there are plenty more.
EDIT: OH YEA AND SEP 30 and OCT 1 HANGING OUT WITH TOM MORELLO!

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I didn't have a nervous breakdown! haha No really...I think I'm just more comfortable with myself and more certain with my direction in life, unlike last year.

9. What was your biggest failure?
I haven't grown spiritually.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
The occasional cold and a broken toe.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
The Killers' CD, home furnishings from Ikea, a cool blazer, and a pair of shin-length Kenneth Cole black leather boots that are actually comfortable.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Zainab + 80s night (particularly on Oct 21). Enough said haha.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
George W. Bush...he takes the cake. And the bakery.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Gas, bills, and alcohol. Dammit.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Various concerts and various boys.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
Modest Mouse - "Float On." It haunted me.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: happier or sadder?
I'm happier.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Spent more time with my family.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Wasting time with people I knew were going to be a waste of time.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
In Cincinnati with my parents and my two younger brothers.

I have NO CLUE!!! BLD? Dayton? Help!

22. Did you fall in love in 2004?
I think so.

23. How many one-night stands?
If you mean one-night stands as in sleeping with random people, then none.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
I never latched on to any trendy show of the year, cos I don't get cable here...but I really like The Dive on Fuse - good music videos.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I dont hate anyone.

26. What was the best book you read?
"The Best American Magazine Writing 2003"

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
TOO MANY! The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Autolux, VHS or Beta, Lovedrug, Hope of the States, Action Action, The Fever, The Stills, and many many many more.

28. What did you want and got?
The cute boy in my journalism class ;)

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Garden State and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 21!!! WOOHOO! The day before I went to Curiosa and rocked out, and the night of my birthday I went to my first 80s night at Skullys, got really drunk, ate pizza at Hound Dog's, and then went home to assemble floor lamps (while intoxicated), and the next day I had an awesome party!

32. What one thing that would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Um, sex. haha.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Um...jeans, boots, ballet flats, obnoxious colored fishnets, customized band shirts, jackets, skirts, lots of black, green, pink, red...same thing really as always, just more tuned to myself.

34. What kept you sane?
Who said I was sane?

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Jude Law.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
War in Iraq, Issue 1 (Ohio)

37. Who did you miss?
Lots of people.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Too many to list. But you guys know who you are! (don't you hate these kind of answers?)
