the gotham girls roller derby bout was really good. Manhattan Mayhem defeated the Brooklyn Bombshells ... it was pretty close, but Suzy Hotrod was not skating, since her band had their record release party Friday night. I wish I was at the bout! I really wanted to make it up but alas no money. I"m so excited Mayhem won! I'm hoping to be on that team when I get up there. Yeah HOtrod is a tough one to beat. Glad you had fun though! That rink is amazing, a bunny rink, a small rink, and a large full size rink. Did you take the subway to the Skate Key? When I first went there I made a right out of 138 stop instead of a left...

did you know they're going to form a new team for next year, a queens team?

Yeah they've been trying to work on that for awhile. IT's just that alot of the new recruits just aren't sticking to 3 month training period. :-\ I think they're aiming for a fourth team as well, either a Bronx or Staten Island.
