Well, we made it to NH. It was a completely stressful, NOT FUN trip over two days. The first day was supposed to be 10 hrs to our hotel. It was over 13! The next day Bird broke out of the hotel room while we were at breakfast and we spent 2.5 hours looking for her in a French Canadian town. Also spent $120 for the damage she did getting out.

Ok. This all seems pretty par for the course when one moves to a new place, which you maybe haven't done very much of, yes? I'm just wondering what you like about NH. Hopefully there's SOMETHING good about it.... xoxo

Needing TWO satellite dishes upon one house seems just a little absurd to me. And the fact that if I lived in town my cable would be 72 channels, but where I live its only 36. And the phone lines can make it to our house, but the internet ones can't? Ok, its just TV and internet, big deal. THE OLYMPICS are on!!! I have been waiting for 4 years to watch them!!

Yeah, I have a bad attitude about living here. I will not deny that. I didn't want to leave my home (and yes I could have chosen to stay), but none of that makes it any better. Its pretty here, yippy, that's my one thing.

Yes, it is pretty here. It's beautiful all year round through all the seasons. You probably feel about summer pretty much the way I feel about winter, so we can be happy for each other when we don't like the weather. It's a start.

It's too bad to be missing the olympics but one thing I've learned about television is that everything gets into reruns so you can alway find something you've missed. It's too bad you don't drink, you could go to the local bar to watch some of it. Although they'd probably be watching the red sox and don't get me started on them right now.

Well, at least the biggest hassel is over. Now its just settling in
