In two days it will be Valentine's Day once again. The Hallmark Holiday. Although it hasn't always been. It was originally named after Christian martyrs named Valentine. I couldn't agree with you more. But, then again, I've never been a big fan of any holiday other than Halloween, and I like that one more for its traditional meaning than what it's become in modern times. I just don't buy into any holiday that compels me to spend money. *shrug*

I do agree with you, especially about the importance of making sure that the people you love know you love them. (Did I mention that you're one of the people I love? I'll try to say it again in a few months, just in case one of us has forgotten.)

But, having said that, isn't it nice to have a special valentine on Valentine's Day?

Beautiful picture, too... I was on the phone with Fran when she drove up and saw it. I'm so glad you posted a picture so I have a visual of what she was reacting to.
