I know I'm not the most tactful person ever, but why is it that whenever I do actually try and be nice and do things right, it's taken the wrong way? Fuckit, I'm going back to just saying what I think and not worrying about offending people ( Read more... )

Not too sure on an exact number, it's somewhere between 25-30 I believe though.

Also, why would you want to avoid offending people? It's one of life's little joys!

I've had 16... I think. There might be 17 but I can barely remember all of their names so I can't remember who else there's been. Definitely at least 16 though.

So was there an age for the average Briton or is that figure for one lifetime?

Lifelong, apparently. There's another study here but of course it's all about how the numbers were obtained and what's done with them.....
