my mantra has always been a quote from Voltaire:
"Your vows are those of a god, your destiny is that of a man."

I finally realized sometime last year that I've been trying to grow up to be Superman and Theodore Roosevelt all rolled into one...

if you think about that too hard you'll get some wierd visuals...

when will you be in SA. sorry i still haven't you back, but i read some the interview. i'm here at home and its a mess i'm taking caffinee pills to stay up and i just popped a sleeping pill to go to bed already

I may be in San Antonio sometime before Ramadan.. I'm trying to get time to do a presentation at the Masjid there. Interestingly enough the Imam there is the brother of the Imam of the Masjid I frequent in Bridgeview, IL

My job tends to have me bouncing around so if nothing else I'll be in Houston, TX in December for the conference.

oh thats cool, what a small world about the imams and all. very cool. i was invited to the conference in houston, but last dec i was too busy getting a new car lol so i'm not sure if i will go in dec.

i'm trying to sneak out of my house to go to a masjid i heard they had here in the valley, so it would be interesting to see how many ppl show up and what it looks like.
