Baby birds are so ugly that they're adorable. omfg, eagles and raptors chicks look so pissed off, it's wonderful.

Oh, they are so cute! I'm kind of interested to know what kind of birds they might be, too. That big beak makes me think grackle, but their wings are all stripey, so that makes me think mockingbird; poor guys -- I'm glad they have you two!

So....since you're playing the role of surrogate mother to these baby birds (and Tim surrogate dad), does this mean we should be wishing you a Happy Mother's Day tomorrow?? ^_~

Seeing the pics and the wing coloration makes me wonder as well if they're mockingbirds. But I guess we won't know for sure until later....
