I stepped in an ant bed yesterday and now have huge welts all over me. The three worst ones are on the bottom of my foot, another on my calf, and the one on my pinky finger. I got them at Reaper while hanging around outside, letting Newton hop around in the grass.

Awww, those pictures are so cute! I'm very jealous. I'm always telling Jon I want a grackle. I just love those big black birds. Their feathers and long tails are so wonderful, and the males always look they have a huge attitude. You're living my dream, Sophie-kins!
