Karal leapt straight up in the air with a squeak (shh, it was a manly squeak) and whirled around to face Sulley. "Nothing!"

"They were all slimy and dripping, and I didn't want to make a mess." He was beginning to wish he'd just gone ahead and made the mess. He was also getting cold.

Karal skittered back, wincing a little because getting slime out of fur was going to be a challenge. "And don't say the word for what comes out of taps!"

"What, water?"

He was asking for trouble there. Water splashed down, washing away some of the slime. He shook himself like a cat would, fur sticking out and slime and water shaking off in different directions.

"Sorry."

Karal wiped water and slime off his face. "That would be the word, yes."

He wiped the water and slime away from his eyes and grinned sheepishly. "I wonder if I can get someone to say it so they can get slimed too."
