Progress! There are constant rumblings here downunder too. Surveys constantly showing public support for gay marriage and most of the politicians have come around to the idea but strangely the labor prime Minister who is living in a defacto relationship, is strongly opposed. Hopefully it is just a matter of time though...

I hope so too ... Here we are in a final round. Law passed but opponents are preparing referendum. The only way to 'win' it is to be overturned by constitutional court... We have all fingers crossed for that.
