Be that as it may, I will still miss the thrill of new Gorillaz material. They are one of my all-time favorites and to see them end is a sad thing indeed. That and I would not be surprised if this new project never got off the ground. Call me a pessimist. I fucking dare you.

Naaah, I feel ya on this one. I don't seem to really dig the concept of them starting on something completely new either, but if it's something Jamie Hewlett wants to do, then I can't really stop him. To tell you the truth, I'm starting to lose credibility for these two. Yeah, Monkey was good in its own right, and the upcoming TV series of Phoo Action based on the old "Get The Freebies!" comics is like a wet-dream for me considerably since I love most of his older works as well, but in my opinion, why get off the band-wagon of a good thing if all you're gonna do is quit on it, right? I dunno, if they're gonna do something different, the least they could do is stop playing mind-games with us for a change, and start hinting us that they don't wanna do it anymore, or at least Albarn doesn't. It's hard to take him seriously anymore though. If I have to though, I'd be glad to start it up again. Granted I may not measure up to what those two could do together, but hell, s'better than being left in the dark with a wet matchbox. XD
