No offense... seriously... but I sent Morgan to school on Friday morning, and by lunch time he was showing signs of Pink Eye then, so they called and I had to go get him. When I sent him to school he didn't have anything to show Pink Eye. Sometimes parents can't notice something that doesn't exist and unfortunately some things don't act up until they are already half way through the day. Morgan's for example didn't start showing the infection until recess time, and I was called around lunch time because they were sure then it was Pink Eye. Now granted I got him then immediately and did not send him back until after he was out of the infectious stage so I'm pretty sure no other child got infected. Least I hope not ( ... )

Normally, I would agree with you but we've already had an incident of head lice at the daycare, on top of everything else. I'm just sick and tired of my son getting in the cross hairs of another child going to school sick.

This will be the 5th time, THIS SEASON that my son has a chest cold, btw.

It's not going to get any better I'm afraid to say. Not everyone cares, unfortunately, but such is society and it disgusts me. You would think a daycare for YOUNGER children who are easier to pick things up would be a little better run though, jeeze.

It's why I can't wait to be a stay at home mom, once Jayden is born. It won't completely stop them from getting sick, but it will lessen greatly.

That sucks! I've had pink eye a number of times the last few years and it...well, sucks. If you want to go 'homeschool' on it I would suggest lukewarm tea bags or I've heard aloe vera juice. Poor kid & poor you!

Sorry to hear that! My biggest problem with daycare has never been the teachers or the other kids. It has ALWAYS been the other parents.

People are stupid and selfish.

I have a question for you. Do you like pink or blue better and would you send me your mailing address? I have something I would like to send you. My email is amccaw at yahoo dot com.

if theres ever a next time, my mom just uses chamomile tea to sooth pink eye. ive never had to gt medicine for it. but with a baby med is probably best since holding a cotton ball to their eye for a while probably wont work.

lol u can med. tape a cotton ball with chamomile soaked on it to your ey for a bit till its cold. like i said, probably not for baby though haha
