so it's a tradition to have a barbecue at my grandma's (mom's side) place anytime my cousin rosa or i are in hong kong.

What I'm understanding from that toward the end is that her hair-do is telling the KGB what she's like to add some confusion to the battle. I want to see this version of the movie.
