So hey! Feel free to take as little or as much from this as you like; I'm only here to help should you need it and to say that you are an awesome person ♥
Things I like: character development, relationship development, banter, banter during sex, kissing, really hot in-character porn, family dynamics, friendship dynamics, stupid loyalty, stupid bravery, snark, fluff that's not, y'know, ridic, fun and silliness, AUs, cross-dressing, backstory. Gen, het, slash. Gratuitous historical, literary or otherwise academic references. Basically anything interesting and in-character. Just enjoy!
Things I don't like: non-con, dub-con, out-there fetishy stuff, mpreg, deathfic, anything ooc, excessive schmoop, unnecessary flowery language, and so on. I'm not a huge fan of porn for porn's sake, although as you'll see in my individual fandom details, I have no problem at all with porn. I just like it to be in-character, or relevant to the story, or something like that. PWP is fine, just stay away from the kind of PWP where you can insert anyone's name in place of the characters' and it wouldn't make a difference.
The bottom line, though, is just enjoy what you write and I'll enjoy it too. I'm not even close to as fussy as I think I come across.
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip: Jack/Jordan/Danny/Simon
So let me tell you about how much I love this show. So much that you could write me a story about any character(s), gen het or slash, and I would love you beyond articulation no matter what. Don't feel like you have to stick to the four I nominated. I love Jordan/Danny, but I'm also fascinated by the idea of Jordan/Jack and one thing I'm determined to write myself if no one else will (and seriously, someone else should) is an alternate series where the main pairing is Jordan/Jack instead of Jordan/Danny. I love their interaction so much. Which leads me to: JACK. Guys, Jack is my favourite character in the history of forever. I love, love, love that underneath all his TV station boss scary he's this incredibly decent guy who will stand up for the right things and not be ashamed about it. I love that he's so snarky and familiar with all the characters. I love that he's not your typical privileged "boss" character; he tries really hard and you can see why he got to where he is.
So, I would also read anything you want to write me about Jack. Gen, backstory, slash, het, I don't care. Jack/Danny or Jack/Matt-- I think there's lovely snarky precedent for both. I would read Matt/Danny of course. I would read Lucy/Tom, Lucy & Darius & Andy writing room shenanigans, Danny & Matt friendship, Jordan being badass, Simon/Tom, Simon & Tom friendship-- basically, as I said, ANYTHING. (Apart from Harriet. I don't mind her as a background character but I would prefer a story based around others. She's a good character but a good character I like to hate. Unless you feel like writing me a story about Simon and Tom aka Harriet's ridiculous overprotective big brothers, in which case GO FOR IT.)
Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys: Party Poison/Fun Ghoul/Kobra Kid/Jet Star
So I guess the first thing I should say is that I do look at this 'verse from a Bandom RPF perspective, in that the characters are alter-egos for the people in the band. I feel a little like I'm cheating Yuletide in that respect, but mainly I'm asking for this because I adore the dystopian world and the idea of these new identities and all the possible scenarios these allow for.
The pairing of my heart is Gerard/Frank, so obvsly you can be sure I'll adore Party Poison/Fun Ghoul. But this 'verse is also about worldbuilding, so go nuts. I love the gritty dystopic genre, desperate sweaty sex, UST because there's no privacy, nowhere to go off on their own and be safe for an hour, almost lost you! sex, falling in love despite all the fucked up shit going on, being in love despite all the fucked up shit (srsly, established relationship or first time, either is absolutely fine with me). Or if you want to focus more on Kobra Kid or Jet Star or both, that's fine with me. I also love, love, love the whole sticking together, family dynamic that I feel like would be a part of something like this. Ridiculously earnest people being stupidly brave and loyal! Idealism! Arguing over stupid shit because all you want is for the people you love to be safe.
(Also, don't hestitate to include any other characters I haven't listed.)
St Trinians: Kelly/Annabelle/Chelsea/Miss Fritton
So uh, basically just go wild? I LOVE the ridiculousness of these movies, I love that any insane and awesome and dangerous thing you could conceive of probably exists/has happened somewhere/at some point in the school. Femmeslash with crazy shenanigans! Super smart super crazy girls trying to matchmake for their friends! Love in inconvenient situations! Awesome teachers being awesome! Miss Fritton knowing everything and being Better Than You! Miss Fritton being in on the ~schemes. Seriously, all the ridic and all the badass.
(And again, any characters I haven't nominated are absolutely fine.)
