It's funny you mention this, as right now my old (actually, it's new) Dell is recording "Prison Break" and I still have to watch the Simpsons from Sunday. We probably have a very similar setup... the tuner came with the Dell and was about $150 and plays through "Windows Media Centre" (which I'm kinda not too crazy about) but it did come with a free remote-control (although the keyboard and mouse are right in front of you anyways :) ).

I know exactly what you mean though. Ever since I got this (about 3 months ago) there just isn't any other way to watch TV!!! :D

I like this other ap vs media center [easier for commercials and such] but ya, there's no going back to straight live TV.
