Oh, I see what happened there . . .

I'm a fan of well-spoken people, when there's actual substance behind the speaking.

But her comment there . . . it's not that he hasn't done anything, it's that it's turned into a ridiculous battle to get things done, mainly because of the Republicans. How they can't see that having little tantrums instead of working as a team to get shit done is making look like idiots beyond me.

But, yeah, blame the guy who's trying to get them to actually do their jobs.

The sad thing is I think he's really trying, but he just can't get things done effectively with them all behaving like children.

Also, people really should know better than to post stuff on twitter to incite arguments and then retreat under the whole "just my opinion, why are you attacking me, you're so mean!" flag.

I've said all along that since the Republicans are so afraid of him being the "angry black man" that he should actually do that. Scare the living shit out of them.

I honestly don't know how he's holding back the anger when it comes to them . . . I get pissed off just seeing Boehner's crazy tanned face.

OMG!!! Boehner makes me wanna kick him in the nuts. Repeatedly.

And they had that shot of Mitch McConnell, looking like the Ex-Lax was just kicking in. I SWEAR he looked constipated!! Joe Biden had that "I will CUT A BITCH if anyone says ANYTHING I don't like!!" lol

During the President's speech last night, some dumbass on my Twitter feed threw that out, then tried to hide behind the "it's just my opinion, why is everyone all mad at me?"

I think the real problem is that most of the populace is uneducated and/or uninformed - they've already decided and don't even know the particulars of any given political position or policy, it's sad.

Speaking of, I'm assuming there's more going on to the context of this fight/his/her statemet because I don't find the statement per se racist. I'm not an Obama fan because I've always found his rhetoric completely not backed up by his actual experience/accomplishments (having said that, he's done a better job in office than I expected him to). But to say people support him just for his speeches is, again, completely uninformed, and really explains the reductive entrenchment at the ends of the political extremes. This person probaly never discusses/listens to any opinion other than his/her own. Unfortunately, that seems to be the popular way these days. It's maddening.

The "talks good/speaks well" thing is a dog-whistle. People don't say that about white candidates/politicians. I've had people say that to my face, and it's like, "What, you're shocked because I enunciate??" I actually lost a job once because what I sounded like on the phone and what the employer saw in front of her were two different things.

I remember us going round and round during the elections. And even though you weren't/aren't a fan of his, that you can see the absolute shitstorm he has to deal with says you're paying attention. Would Hillary have done a better job? Perhaps. She did and does have a certain skillset that lends itself to governing. But then again, I wonder if she would have had an even harder time of it. Considering what Obama has had to deal with, I think that Hillary would have had it even worse. And yet, I think that she would have handled it in a way that showed strength, you know? Obama doesn't do that enough, and it drives me nuts!

I too wish Obama would turn his passivity to our international position and get us the hell out of Afghanistan and Iraq, and engage in war with those nuts in the Right wing! Yeah, Hilary's balls would have definitely better suited the situation in Congress, bwahhahahahahahahahah. *sigh*

I really don't understand how the President keeps so calm. I want to put all of them on an island with guns and see who survives. Lol. I find myself yelling at the tv every time that smug jackass Boehner appears. As one of the millions of unemployed I have a dog in this fight and so far no one seems to be helping.
