What do cab rides and cigarettes usually cost you?

I think our 1/2 hour trip to the airport for the 4 of us cost us like $26.

Cigarettes here are pointless as smoking is prohibited in Minneapolis, but cigarettes run about $5.79 to $7.50 a pack here, depending.

And WTF with the confiscation of preserves?? o_O I bet they just wanted a snack. :P

Boston cab rides are notoriously expensive from the airport, because there are both airport fees and tunnel tolls. For example - the half-mile (approximately five-minute) ride from the airport to my house will run me $20. If I want to get home via public transportation, it'll cost me $2, and take about 30 minutes.

Smokes in Boston are around $8.50 for regular brands, fancy American Spirits and the like run $9.50 or so.

We witnessed the TSA agents tossing the goodies in the trash - it's illegal for them to take anything for themselves (I even told the agent to at least enjoy it if he was going to take it!).
