Yay! I really enjoyed betaing this chapter. I think the Logan/Veronica scene in the XTerra is just awesome. The tension, both sensual and fearful, play through the scene like a finely tuned harp string. And I think you do a nice job both there and in the Veronica/Keith scenes (ew, not like that) to convey the perspective of Logan and Keith even though we see and experience things from Veronica's PoV.

Oh, boy... Lianne, huh? *sigh*

I'm continually amazed at how much information y'all are able to fit into one chapter.

The tension that has been created between Keith and Veronica, as well as Logan and Veronica is really intense and exciting to read as it plays out (if also equally painful to read.)

The scene in the XTerra was a great combination of really hot, and really heartbreaking at the same time (damn Veronica for her issues at a time like that!)

Lianne--interesting development. How many mysteries are we getting here?

Very happy to hear the tension between K/V and L/V came across the way it did. jaggedreality and I worked really hard to show how Veronica was feeling with Keith holding back and the escalating problems between L/V. Thanks for noting the L/V scene. And yes, it *is* frustrating. Hee.

As for the mysteries, there'll be a MOTW in almost all the chapters in addition to the larger mystery arc. We're very excited about the project. *bounces* can you tell? Hee.

When writing, I'm never sure if things like the tension between the characters comes off as intended so I'm thrilled to hear it has. queen_haq and I agonized a lot over how to show the mounting tension without going over the top.

If you are enjoying the story so far, I can't wait to see how you react to some of the upcoming chapters. I know the other writers have some fantastic things planned.

I'm glad that I can provide some sort of positive feedback that this story is a wonderful idea, and really well done. The tension isn't over the top, but it still is enough to put a definite marker on each chapter.

I'm excited for future chapters--that is not a question, especially as I'm getting to know more of them personally.

This chapter was really interesting! I loved the tension between L/V because they still have boatloads o' issues that they refuse to talk about. And aww, a Wallace cameo, yay!

Colleen's story was yet another sad reminder of how the other half has to live, but I'm excited about the Lianne appearance. Maybe V can finally get her 50 grand back...

Colleen was a fun character to write. We enjoyed being able to humanize her and show that things are not always better on the other side. And Wallace cameos are always fun.
