I was thinking I could be the bad townie to your straight A honor student.
This made me laugh.

I do love everything about this chapter - the MOTW, tying into the kidnapped girls from the '02 district, to Katy from Kansas, to that ending. I'm glad that Veronica and Logan are still having their moments of banter and happiness, even though it's abundantly clear that Veronica needs to talk to him. Hopefully that'll happen now since she's making the effort to go see him.

I think that is one of my favorite lines.. I am glad it works.. So I can say it's just good dialogue instead of me just thinking it's funny!

I just got in to VM thanks to a wonderful friend of mine and this fic has been a great first to read, I really really like how Logan is portrayed and how IC everyone is. Not to mention the surrounding investigation storyline, it's really great how you guys are tying everyone/thing together. I can't wait for more!

Thank you so much - it's been a lot of work to get this many authors together to hammer out one storyline, but I've been amazed at how well it's pulled together as the story progresses. Glad you're enjoying it!

Oooh, and the plot thickens! What's going on with the missing girls? How creepy is Nick Wilson? WHY IS LOGAN NOT PANTSLESS MORE? You've realllly stepped up the mystery here (especially about the pants, yo), but kept the tone of this chapter really light, and it's fantastic. Plus! Complex dynamics! Logan/Veronica relationshipness! Keith/Veronicaness! Veronica/Wallace! You really nailed everything here, but it was especially nice to see Wallace, and you two handled he and Veronica perfectly. And, seriously, you can't even tell that two people wrote this chapter, it's so seamless, so awesome work, Lex and Anne :).

The best EVER, though?

I have an unnatural love for that part. Oh, Logan, ever the bad boyfriend. You WIN!

I know. We've got the boy shirtless, somebody needs to depants him, stat. But thank you for the feedback - and especially for catching the stiches thing - I wnet back and did a rough time line to try to figure out how far into the summer we were, and more than a month had passed. So poor Keith wouldn't be nearly as decrepit as we had him!

Oh man this was such an incredible chapter!
Wow, I didn't expect the case to turn out like that!
So what does that mean for the case of the missing girls?! (ponders)
I'm glad Logan came to visit and I burst out laughing at the way he made his grand enterance and the fact they got caught.

They SO need a code.
Oh man, I'm glad my orientation wasn't that bad but Nick and Jess have nothing on the Peer advisors at my university haha.
I hope Veronica realizes she is sorta pushing Logan away and that is not good at all & I'm glad Veronica isn't going to just shrug off Hearst.

again, this was such an amazing chapter.

The plot is thickening! Thanks for the feedback - I know Nick and Jess were a little over the top, but orientation counselors just always seemed so overly peppy to me, we had to play with that a little!

And yes, they definitely need a code :)
