Very Important Reunion Movie Dos and Don'ts

Oct 10, 2016 12:00

I have learned vital lessons through watching the reunion movies of my 3 favorite shows - The Man From U.N.C.L.E., I Spy and The Greatest American Hero.

DO NOT keep your heroes separated for 15 years...

...or even worse - 25 YEARS!

DO keep your heroes together after going through all the trouble of reuniting them.

DO NOT split them up and pair them with young idiots.

And the most important of the dos and don'ts:

DO keep them together in the end because that's where they belong.

DO NOT have them say goodbye...

...especially when one of them is dead and there is zero chance of a fix-it.

Irrelevant footnote: Let us appreciate the eternal handsomeness of our middle-aged heroes.

50 year old David McCallum and 51 year old Robert Vaughn.

64 year old Robert Culp and his still floofy (if slightly thinner) Kelly hair.

david mccallum, the greatest american hero, i spy, robert culp, the man from u.n.c.l.e., robert vaughn
