Seen on the English translation of a Chinese restaurant menu:

Hot Pot: Everything and the things you want.

Another dish, under "noodles" was labeled as: Head of Evaporated Three-Point Banker. Oddly enough, it contained no bankers, no heads, and nothing evaporated.

You'd think the English translations would be better here in the US, but they're not. I can't read much Chinese, but I can read the menus because I've had to learn out of self-defense.

So did you complain about false advertising? :B

We asked our friends about it and they checked the Chinese. The hot pot wasn't even something general like "mixed meat and veg." It was fish. The evaporated banker dish was something I expected to have dried mushrooms in it, or something similar. (Like the "fungal pizza" which was also on offer.) But it was chicken and noodles, so go figure.
