Spring Break. :\
Spring Break's almost overrr.... how wasteddd... ;_____; Barely did
anything poroductive either. Didn't even blog much more than usual,
probably less than usual. :P Soo...
Friday, March 25: Start of Spring Break. Went to Tammers' house with Addy, Tammers, Ricardoe, and Phuong. Originally, we were expecting Adam, Michael, Christenyo, and James to come too but Adam had driving school, Michael didn't believe that we were going to do anything [whateverr... he doesn't know what he was missing out on :P, Christenyo... was being lazy .____.", and James... don't know what happened to him but he never made it. :P So we had plans for board games and games at the park but that didn't work out well either. xP I was planning to bring Monopoly because that game gives infinite fun for hours on end but I thought Tammers had one which it turns out that it was lost... didn't have any other board games either. :P We were planning to play that game that we played at Addy's and Phuong's b-day party but didn't have enough people to do it.
So first we were just sitting around calling people to come but everyone was being really relunctant and all so that didn't work. Then Addy and I "went for some ice cream" which I was actually sincere about but we went to the park instead. :P We swung on the swings like we always do whenever we're at the park and while I was swinging, everything from my pocket was falling out. I had a bunch of quarters and coins which fell into the sand like buried treasure. :P Even my cell fell and I didn't notice until I was looking for money and saw it in the sand. :P See pics from Addy's past blog.
Then after some time, Tammers called and asked if we were still at Baskin Robbins. I told her we were still deciding on what flavor ice cream to get and that we were getting free samples of every flavor and she actually believed us. :P So then she said she was coming over to get us because we were taking so long deciding, but of course we were never really at Baskin Robins. So then Addy and I started heading for Baskin Robins to really get ice cream this time and on the way, we met Tammers and Phuong. We saw them at a distance and I jumped in a bush by the road to jump out and surprise them but that was really screwy because the bush turned out really thick and bushy. :P And they noticed my shoes sticking out... meanwhile Addy's just standing there laughing like crazy so it's a bit obvious something's up. :P It turns out that they went to Baskin Robins with Ricardoe but after not finding us, he thought he'd race Tammers home and ran off through a shortcut. However Tammers had no intention of racing so he was left to run off. .____." So then Addy, Tammers, Phuong, and I headed to Baskin Robins finally and took like half an hour deciding what to get because we were a bit short on money. Ended up buying a quart of Oreo Cookie Ice Cream after much debate, a free sample, and much annoyance to the clerk. :P So then we headed back to Tammers house because we though Ricardoe was waiting there, all the while devouring that delicious ice cream. :P It's just crazy how fast it disappeared. xD
Then it turns out Ricardoe wasn't at Tammers house (probably because we took so long at Basin Robbins) so we thought he was at the park and headed over there. We swung some more and started playing around in the sand. :P Check out Addy's pictures because I don't remember all that happened. We wrote "Tammee pwns Tammee," "Hate you a lot! :D," and other stuff in the sand, including a group picture of our shoes around a heart. :P I was also drawing stick figures of us and drew Tammers as a gangsta hobo because she was pretending to be one sleeping on the bench. She had a nifty hat and her super shoes and all. :P I wanted to take pictures so Tammers, Phuong, and I ran back to Tammers' house to get my camera and on the way back, saw Ricardoe down the street. He suddenly made a run for it when he saw me. ._____." Finally got him back and came back to the park to take some more pictures of stuff we wrote in the sand [see Addy's pics]. Then we played on the swings and the playground thingie and took pictures there too, but I was trying to figure out my camera and formated it, deleting all the pictures I had. ;____________; Gosh that really sucksssssssss. Had such nice pictures on there too... ;_______; How am I to know that 'format' means deleting everything? I thought that was the 'reset' button. :P How upsetting that was...
After sundown, it started getting dark and cold so we sat on the basketball courts because the asphalt was suprisingly warm. :D It's like the ground absorbs the heat during the day and releases it during the night. .__. So we talked there and Tammers told an amusing joke; Did you know someone called you an owl? Actually no one fell for it but that's the funny part. xP Finally, went back to Tammers' house where we sat around and dispersed. Day well spent. :D
Saturday, March 26: Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast: This was scheduled for 7 o'clock in the morning so I set my alarm for 6 o'clock, but was really sleepy so I kept hitting the 'snooze' button and didn't acutally get up till around 6:50. :P When I walked out to the Pancake Breakfast area, met Addy, Adam, Christenyo, Ricardoe, Wayne, Ton, Amy, Michelle, and whoever else was there. We ate some pancakes and cleaned up before the customers started to arrive.
First, I was just wandering around helping clean the tables but then Addy and I went to the pancake grill thing and started flipping pancakes. How funnn, but it got really hot, especially when we were facing the sun... swear I got all sunburned. .___." Then a convention meeting thing was held to tell about convention. They told us we only need like 3 pairs of clothing. Interesting. .__." Then we returned to flipping pancakes for a while before Adam showed up and helped spray Pam on the grill thing. It got really hot so we were circling all around the grill trying to keep out of the sun but yea... that didn't really work... :P After a while, Adam left and then Addy and I went on a break. We tried to look for Tammers, Christenyo, and Phuong but got caught up in a storm of kiddies running everywere on their egg hunts. xD How funn... I want to do an egg hunt sometime maybe... :D Then we saw those jump house things and wanted to slide down one but there was a really long line full of kids. :P Called Tammers and discovered that she, Christenyo, and Phuong were at Par Tea On althouugh it wasn't opened yet. So then we found Adam waiting for his dad because he had to go to driving school. After he left, Addy and I went to Starbucks where we found Tammers and Christenyo. We headed back to Par Tea On and hung out there for a while before everyone was picked up.
Monday, March 28 to Wednesdsay, March 30: Addy, Tammers, Ricardoe, Huy, Ben, and Michael Duong at driving school. Adam was there for the first day or so and later passed his permit test. Wish I came with you guys. I was doing absolutely nothing productive at home, besides trying to study math for my dad. I was suppose to have my permit test this Friday, but seeing as how I didn't even start reading the handbook yet and we scheduled the movie for this Friday, it's moved to next Friday to be taken with Addy and Tammers. :D
Thursday, March 31: YM practice session at my house. Ehh... that was.. eventful to say the least. :P Huy with his PSP, Huy and Ben with their Redbull, us with our unprepared-ness...
Friday, April 1: movie day. This didn't really go as planned either. .____." Addy wanted to see Ice Princess but it turns out that it happened to be not playing today so we kinda let whoever choose whatever movie they wanted to see. Also, several people like Adam and Michael didn't show up so what a letdown.
Addy, Tammers, Ricardoe, James, his sister, Huy, Ben, and I ended up seeing Guess Who, which I thought looked hilarious on the commercials, but it turned out to be quite a dissapointment. :P It looked a whole lot funnier on the commercials but the movie just seemed to be trying too hard to be funny and things were too coincidental. :P Will those people get over the fact that he's white already...
So afterwards, we met up with Christenyo and her sister and Phuong and her friend who were watching The Ring 2. We headed over to South Coast to go to Hallmark and on the way, James had to leave. Then we spent forever in Hallmark although we saw some really nice cards. :D I kinda wandered off after spending so long in that store and Ricardoe and I went searching for Tammers and Christenyo. It's just so easy to lose each other in a mall. :P While we were crossing the Bridge of Gardens, I was hopping on the lines like I always do although this time, I slided and fell. xP How stupiddd... people were just like... ouch, are you okay??... xP
Later we were wandering around the mall trying to find the Vie de France restaurant but it turns out we were heading the wrong direction. Instead we were walking around a fountain, which I've never noticed there before. .____." Waste 16 cents in it even though it's not one of those wishing fountains. :P So finally caught up with Tammers, Christenyo, and Tiffany inside the restaurant and started freeloading off their free bread and butter. :D Then Addy, Phuong, and her friend showed up but didn't stay inside the restuarant long. Addy was outside trying to read Animal Farm and Phuong and her friend were sharing a sandwich. We came out and met Chi and Sonya, who told us about the Beta bonfire tomorrow at 5.
Then we headed back to Metro Pointe where we went to Barnes and Nobles for some Starbucks. I had been holding back from buying anything today because I'm a bit short on money but finally gave in to 2 dollars worth of a Starbucks chocolate brownie thing that wasn't worth the money. :P Oh well, getting those coffee stirrers was worth it. :P So after getting coffee, we left Barnes and Nobles because Addy was getting picked up. Those Barnes and Nobles doors are so frustrating because they don't saw whether to pull or push and it certainly wasn't both because I tried pulling on the way out and that failed and made me look like an idiot. :P Bet Addy meant for me to look stupid... So anyways then I was hanging from the railing when my camera dropped down in the bushes and Ricardoe and I had to jump down and get it. I dropped my camera like 3 times throughout today so now it's kinda scratched up. :P What really sucks is that I forgot to put the battery in so it didn't work anyways. :P So Tammers, Ricardoe, and I were sitting outside on the bench waiting for Tammers' dad to pick us up and fooling around with the coffee stirrers. :P They break real easily. .__." Towards 7 o'clock, we went back in because Ricardoe was doing some English extra credit at Barnes and Nobles. Tammers and I kinda lost him upstairs but it turns out he was downstairs talking with some friends, completely forgetting us. :P Found Adam and talked for a while before Tammers' dad came and we had to leave.
Bonfire tomorrow anyone? Make the most of whatever's left of Spring Break? (: Leave homework for Sunday, as we all know was going to happen anyways...
