It's a British thing, you wouldn't understand
I made a rare visit to First Avenue, last night. I really love that place. It seemed blacker everywhere... even the top of Pete the bartender's head... but still that lovely cavern I missed. Where's my $1.87?
I was going to post about that time in '04 or so, when I saw $1.87 gas and couldn't make sense of the price... and I was going to post a photo of the price on the sign at SA this morning. It was $1.87, again. The "that's a gasoline price?" bewilderment, again. After work, though, the price fell another 8 cents. Missed my chance ( Read more... ) -
