Odd thoughts

I wonder why my brain does the things it does. It has been over a year now and still its still in my head, can't seem to get rid of these thoughts that infect my brain. Am I forever damned to pine and think about the so called, One that got away? I try really hard to rethink the situation, stop myself from continuing on like this. I just can't....
