From what I been told, pretty much all Xbox 360 games runs in 720p and has an awesome upscaller for 1080p. The PS3 doesn't so unless the game has a software upscaller, it's not going to look as good.

I'm actually leaning more toward the PS3 version since it has a much better D-pad.

Doh! Scratch what I said. This is more for 3D games since L4D runs in 720p.

It just occur to me that SSF2THDR is native 1080p.

It's funny you mention that, cause I was playing with the dpad on the dual shock ps3 controller and since the pad is so recessed, it's a very bad dpad for pulling off consistent fireballs. Maybe it's just me, but I can continuously hit fireballs and shoryukens on the 360 pad no problem. :/

The PS3 runs native in 1080p so I assumed the PS3 version would look better.. how does a sprite look different on the 2 consoles?

I only have PS3.. and an arcade stick for it.. so it's a no-brainer. :)

PS- hey long I want to see a side-by-side comparison. And when's the party? :)

Hey man, yeah, if you ever come by I'll show you both versions since I have em both. There's a huge difference really. Not sure about the launch party yet since this weekend coincides with Thanksgiving and it's been kinda hectic since I've been working on some stuff for the SF4 release as well. But, I will keep you posted. :)

Okay cool.

Oh wow they roped you into SF4 stuff too? Crazy. I thought most of that would be handled by Capcom Japan..

Yeah, I'm doing some pack-in stuff for the collector's edition of SF4. Since this stuff is extra, Japan is letting USA handle it.
