1 pound dried chickpeas/garbanzo beans cooked til almost tender. I used my pressure cooker. (2 large cans chickpeas would work just fine.)
Add to large pot with
3 tbsp Olive oil
Toast and toss the chickpeas until you can smell the roasty flavor coming out of them.
Add:
1-ish cup chopped onion
Stir and sizzle for a few minutes
Give it a liberal garlic
