[ Toeto's been a very responsible girl. After the initial panic of turning up in the DR with nothing but her clothes and her pet cat, she's managed to get herself somewhat organised. She and Kyouneko had been sleeping in a corner of the bus that always seemed to have enough space for newcomers. Now, wrapped in a thick coat and scarf, Toeto is trotting along when she hears a voice calling her name.

A very familiar voice.

She peeks around the corner nervously and then blinks. That looked like...]

M--mommy?

[ After a moment, Toeto races around the corner, flying straight into Luka's arms and sobbing fit to burst. ]

Hauuu---! Mommyyy--!

Sorry for the wait, had to eat dinner and shower

[Luka doesn't hear Toeto at first, but when she sees her coming around the corner, she rushes to meet her.]

Toeto! [Holds her tightly, tearing up from relief.] Oh, you're okay! I'm so sorry I lost you!

[ Toeto buries her face into her mother's skirt and continues to cry for a few minutes before pulling back and rubbing her eyes with her sleeves. ]
