Wow. Ok I need to go read this stuff. If Tumblr has forgotten the history, anyone who's standing up and telling the stories deserves to be applauded.

I feel a bit bummed that I don't know as much multi history as I should. I know a good chunk of the therapeutic stuff until about 2006 or so, and still grab academic articles periodically, and I think I'm doing okayish with the online multi history, but I know that it's still really scattershot. I read chunks of Astraea and such, but a lot of it just didn't click with me, so I never archive-binged, and since we joined up in 2007, things like Dark Personalities is basically from before my time.

But there is no doubt in my mind that there are a lot of predecessors to be thankful for.

it's strange. we feel partly responsible for having got so caught up in life and going back to college and getting married to another multiple group that somehow, it must be our fault that things got stalled and lost and blahblah because we lurked-out just a year or less after becoming mods on multiplicity comm(i don't even know, at this moment if it still exists and that is surreal to me 0_o ( ... )
