A person is a conscious, sentient agent. Therefore, a typical member of a plural group, unless he is a fragment or something similar, is a person. How DIFFICULT is that for some people to understand? We are complex, autonomous entities. We would all pass the Turing test.

Sorry that some people just don't get it yet...and as I think I know the situation you're referring to, I'll ask my friend anglerfish to remove her reposts to social work communities. She was trying to help but didn't get all the nuances of the situation.
