I was thinking about my old 'race issue' article from last year, and feel as though I've oversimplified things a bit, at least regarding our experiences as a system. I very much enjoyed reading this. I was wondering how your system dealt with race, given that none identify with the front.

I am actually really happy to see you writing this...it's sort of something that I had figured a while back would come back to bug your system if it wasn't addressed but wasn't sure how to bring it up. Because the whole thing about racism is that it happens no matter how anyone or any system identifies internally ( ... )

*Exactly*. It's really not about being a person, to racists; they just see you as a member of a category, and no matter how you yourself identify, or what you say, they will put you there, so there's really no point in ignoring racism. It's too big a problem to ignore, and it's not dead, at all. I'm glad that we've sort of come to terms with the 'you can't ignore racism' thing, because some of us were really clueless about it.
