I have not had much to add for the whole "what I've learned" thing in the past few days. I have had a number of reminders as to just how un-fun living in New England can be during winter. After cleaning off my car last night I failed to leave the wipers up and they were totally frozen to the windshield this morning. I had to go pour washer fluid

My car was conveniently covered with snow so the ice stuck to that instead of my wipers. I did, however, leave them up when I got to work because with my luck everything will melt, and then freeze, before I get out of here. rob and I spent a good 30 minutes or so trying to chip away at the Mt. Everest that was blocking our driveway. The driveway was perfectly clear, we just couldn't get out of it. The plow guy showed up about an hour later. We only broke one shovel in the process. :)
