Since our fine city is about to be deluged by Democrats, this post will focus on them. Don't be surprised if you see me here crying for a life preserver as I attempt to stay afloat during their torrential onslaught.

This comment is as bad as Jesse Jackson talking about cutting Barack Obama's nuts off. Glad I'm not running for political office.

Gee, why is it bad? I like the guy. I wasn't putting him down. I was complimenting his courage in the right wing state.

I was referring to my own comment, not yours.

I don't know whether or not Polis is the best of the candidates, but I think he'd be ok.

I also don't know if I'd classify Colorado as 'right-wing', but then again we don't live in Musgrave country. Maybe you should elect Story Musgrave.

I actually started skiing when I was 5. Last time I skied was 1999. There's a couple of reasons for that....1) ramaba doesn't ski, and 2) I messed up my left knee in 1995 skiing. That injury is mostly dormant, but it does flare up every now and then. I can thank that for having to limp around Vegas in 2001.

I do actually have a pair of 18 year old skis out in the garage. I don't think I'd use those, but it's not inconceivable that one of these days I'd get the bug and try again.
