I think, now, even before the RNC, McCain has disqualified himself from my consideration with his VP choice. Picking such a strong pro-life and pro-creationism-as-science (1. at least if Wikipedia is to be believed 2. Creationism is COMPARATIVE RELIGION not BIOLOGY) with only a small amount of experience, defeating your argument against Obama, isn't going to win my vote. I'll have to admit, though, she's hotter than both Biden and Obama.

I'm cautiously optimistic with this pair. It may not be saying much, but I think it's the best pairing I've seen since I started voting in 1992. McCain could have been almost as much, had he not decided to pander to the 'Republican Base'.
I don't know quite what he was thinking. I expect to find him escaping the asylum and lurching through my sprinklers in the middle of the night.
