That is a hilarious video. It was interesting to read some people thought it was cruel, but I think it was an effective training tool. The cat didn't get hurt and probably will never get on the counter and eat the plant again. Squirting water in a dog's or cat's face is not pleasant for them, but they learn quickly not to do a particular behavior. I taught Cinder not to bark so much when she stayed with us using that technique.

It probably wouldn't be my first choice for training, but I didn't find it particularly cruel either. The only danger I saw was some stuff went flying a couple of times.
