Pleased are we that Markey so soundly defeated Musgrave. Soon will be gone from Colorado our two worst representatives in Congress: Musgrave and Allard. If either Musgrave or Shaffer would have won, I would have pushed the nuke button myself.

I'm not jumping up and down today. As had been said many times in our media, Barak Obama is a transformational figure and right now has the support of the world. He will also have the weight of the world on his shoulders when he takes office on January 20th. I hope he has the strength of Atlas to endure what he will surely face. So my joy with his election is also tempered by my concern for future. There is no doubt, however, that it is much brighter with Obama at the helm.

Markey is a little too perky for my tastes, but that's a small price to pay for getting rid of Musgrave.

Allard, I think, is the only senator I've ever met in person.

Markey's okay. FD has met in her person and wrote an editorial endorsing her. Do you remember meeting Allard when he was Morris' vet?

Yeah, Musgrave was kind of a sacrificial lamb....cool.

I think we'll have to be patient for things to suck less, though.
