you know, either of the two options - stay in the states to go to school or to go to helsinki for school - would be a pretty damned good option. i said Helsinki because I've done the move from america to europe, and you dont need to make it permanent, but its such a good experience to get out of there, see something new, meet new people and different kinds of people with different views on the world and stuff. It sounds cliche'd but i really think there's something in it. I'd kill to go to the University of Helsinki, actually, its supposed to be one of the best in europe. anyways. get out there, try something new, whatever you're doing. New beginnings can help everyone, no matter what situation you're in, i think.

...thats just my 2 cents worth, take it or leave it, you know? ;)

Yea...your 2 cents is pretty valuable! I really am leaning more into going to school in Helsinki. I want to get out of the states so bad and just try something new. I know it doesn't have to be permanent...but it might turn out that way! *grins*

Obviously, I'd say Helsinki. But, I'm not going to vote. I do have a clue, but it IS your life, so I wouldn't want to influence your decision.

Do what makes you happy. If it means taking a risk, take it. If that risks means Finland...fuckit, I might move over there sooner than I thought.

You do realise that I've not stopped thinking about this all day. If you do end up in Helsinki this autumn...well, your apartment better be big enough for two people. Cause I have a strange feeling that you being in Finland will give me a kick up the backside to get there myself.

I went with the third option, becuase going there will make you happy, and it's some place that you will enjoy...So do what will make you happy the most.

If I go to Helsinki...I dont know if I would still do English. I might major in something else.

But going to Helsinki does make me happy...REALLY HAPPY!
