I'm not even a fan, but I saw that and found it extremely moving and profound. But I guess you'd have to be some kind of unfeeling monster to not feel something from that.
I know, I cried so hard. :( I almost never cry about anything aside from pet deaths, but it was so moving and honest and thoughtful, and even tinged with a little humor here and there. He was a wonderful person to the very end, you can just tell from his writing. I've been a huge fan of his for a number of years, I think he was one of the best things to happen to anime. I'm so saddened by his passing and will be for a long time, but I feel more closure and a little more peace getting to read his final words.
It was a bad idea to read this at work, because I was having such a hard time holding back my tears, but I'm so glad to have seen his last message. It was amazing to get to know the last thoughts and wishes of a genius who knows he's about to pass on. It was so moving. ♥
I've only ever watched Paranoia Agent, but when I read that earlier today I was in fucking tears and on the verge of sobbing. I don't even have words...
